In Focus?

In Focus? Blue water jug with money inside-looks like mostly pennies— How long have I been saving? Two electrical cords tangle one outlet— Who'll get the Wisconsin electric current? The room heater (set at sixty-eight degrees) turns on, The rug underneath must be warm. Candle flame blowing with the air. Annoying to watch it and stare. Two handles have the storage cabinet, There's nothing inside but an old laptop. White window corner adds (a focus point) to the Duck picture on the wall. Pet photos set atop the desk,  I wonder, do they even notice? White pages and yellow pages-- Both get outdated. Remote pet training collar lay on a shelf, Manufacturer lied; it isn't waterproof. Breathe...am I in focus?

Lobby

Lobby Sitting in a lobby, Radio fades in & out. "Devil Went to Georgia" And static play from a broken RCA boom box. Ceiling fan's shadow swirls, While fan blades spin around the Center of the octagon shaped room. Flower patterned carpet confuses the eyes, Dizzying while lights strobe.

Lonely!

Lonely!   This is the very first time am trying this so am not comfortable sharing details about me, but here are the basics. I'm single, loving, caring, honest, ambitious and good looking. I like sports and the outdoors, I enjoy sightseeing, exploring and more. I'm looking for a matured woman to give me the happiness and excitements of life, a woman I can call mine and always make me happy all the time. I believe age is just a number  and good looks does not define the heart. I am looking for a real woman who is ready for a serious, meaningful relationship. Someone who is both friend and lover, that we can enjoy each other's company and do things together. I would like to be with a woman that we can have fun together, can handle any situation, take control and at the same time remain compassionate. I would like to have a relationship with all the sparks and be able to grow with someone. I also have an amazing relationship with God, ...

On a Park Bench

On a Park Bench    On a park-bench facing the river, A lone goose honk comes from the reeds across the other side. The wind is chilly, my dog sitting here with me, He whines. We were going to walk the boardwalk trail, but dogs were prohibited as if they were alcohol. ASS-HOLES!

That's How You Made Me Feel Back Then

That's How You Made Me Feel Back Then I loved your multi-pierced ears Your deep and intent looking eyes Your soft nose, your kissable toes Your butterfly tattooed back Your large breasts and small nipples front Your bah-dunk-a-dunk. Oh, your brain (it's curious waves) The way you said "oh-jeez!" And you in jeans-sometimes out. Your milky white skin tone, oh! how I wanted to bone-- however, we ended up in a sixty-nine. That's how you made me feel back then!

The Menorah Candle

The Menorah Candle Peeking at the TV set,  when I awoke last night, there was a picture-perfect Jew (Long beard, silly black hat and black coat) lighting the Chanukah menorah candle, outside Waukesha Co. courthouse. The FOX6 News showed people standing around  to watch the event. I'm no Jew, but am spiritual enough to go watch, be socially active.  Enthusiastically, I packed the dog in the truck, we'd only go for a minute. Florence + The Machine's cover of “Stand by Me”  playing on the radio, setting an honest, melodiousness for driving. But arriving there, there was nobody (Save a Black FedEx truck driver, unloading a mailbox). No perfect Jew! No news vans! No crowd of people! Only a parking lot,  with a giant candle display standing in the blowing wind--all lonely. Turning to my dog—sitting on the passenger seat— I said, "Well, . . . that was something," while turning the truck around and heading back home fr...
